Chicago Improv Fest has begun
The Chicago Improv Fest has begun and runs through Sunday, May 1.

Philadelphia Improv Festival
Coming up in just a few weeks is the Philadelphia Improv Festival - April 29-30, 2005 - at The Actor's Center, 257 N. Third, Philadelphia.
The festival features "over 10 of the Philadelphia Area's finest improv groups," including The Ninjas, Rare Bird Show, The Cabal, LunchLady Doris, ComedySportz, Elaschtick, The Throng, The Village Idiutz, Gurus of Guffaw, Without a Net, and Giggle Mill. Daytime workshops will also be offered.

Del Close Movie?
The Chicago Reader has an article about Guru: My Days With Del Close that includes this tidbit:
Second City owner Andrew Alexander has optioned [the book] for a movie, for which Griggs has written the screenplay.
