Hiking the Wabash Heritage Trail

The Wabash Heritage is certainly not one of Indiana's most challenging trails. And with a sewage treatment plant on both sides of the river along the way, no matter what direction the wind is blowing some section of the trail is going to be smelly. But it's a pleasant hike and I can walk to the trail head from my house (hike to the hike).

The WHT runs north from Lafayette to Battle Ground and south nearly to Fort Ouiatenon. Nearly. The last time I hiked the WHT, the trail ended just north of Fort Ouiatenon (or I lost the trail) and I ended up in somebody's back yard.
