Snubfest '06

Snubfest '06 has been announced for January 12-15, 2006 in Chicago, IL. Applications are now being for the festival -- to apply you must have been rejected from another festival sometime in 2005.

St. Louis (Improv) Fringe Festival

The St. Louis (Improv) Fringe Festival [that's the official title with the parentheses and all] will be September 9-10, 2005 in St. Louis, MO at COCA in University City - The Loop. Scheduled performances include Paper Slip Theatre, Homoerratic Comedy, Project Improv, Ed Reggi’s "A Cell Phone Story" and a fully improvised live film.

Wild and Out

MTV is airing Nick Cannon Presents Wild 'N Out -- a show that features freestyle rap battles and short-form improv games.

UCB on TV

The Upright Citizens Brigade will have a one-hour ASSSSCAT Improv Special on Bravo on September 7, 2005 at 11 pm (10 Central). The fully improvised one-hour special features the founding members of UCB -- Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh -- and special guest performers including SNL's Rachel Dratch, Tina Fey, Horatio Sanz, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien's Kevin Dorff and Andy Richter.

Toronto Improv Fest

The Toronto Improv Fest begins tomorrow and runs through Sunday, August 21. If you can't make it to Toronto, the Jamboree crew will be live-blogging the festival. The festival has received some coverage in the Toronto Star and Eye Weekly.
