Training Centers of LA
I'm beginning to suspect that Back Stage West is doing some sort of series on improv. Maybe if I was a subscriber I'd know, instead of getting the articles through Google News searches.
In any case, Back Stage West interviews four teacher/performers from four different training centers in LA.
Back Stage West spoke with four teacher/performers from four different companies: Mindy Sterling from The Groundlings; Todd Stashwick from the Hothouse Spontaneous Theatre Conservatory; Jo McGinley from the Impro Theatre; and Aliza Murrieta from bang Improv Studio. Interestingly, they all agreed improvisation is an important skill for any actor, but they offered a surprising range of reasons to learn this skill.
