Drunk Monkeys - Episode 54 - Dude Vodka.
Season 8 of Drunk Monkeys was taped in front of a live studio audience. We’ve got four episodes filmed at Stage 773 during Chicago Sketch Fest and then two from a special evening we had at Watershed. In this first episode, Jen and Erica are drinking Dude Lemon-Lime Flavored Vodka from Three Olives.

Drunk Monkeys - Episode 53 - Cocktail Time - Loaded Baked Potato.
What we call a “season” of this show is filmed all in one night and just released as separate episodes. So if I say that this is the last episode of Season 7, our longest season yet, perhaps then you’ll know why Jen and Erica seem so… tired. A constant quest of the show is to find a way to drink the more savory liquors without just masking them in a Bloody Mary. In this episode, Jen is concocting something she calls a Loaded Baked Potato, using both Bakon (ep29) and Naked Jay Big Dill pickle (ep42) vodkas.
It’s the end of Season 7, but we’ll be back next week right on schedule with the start of Season 8. Season 8 will feature episodes filmed during our live appearances at Chicago Sketch Fest and at Watershed back in January.
Drunk Monkeys - Episode 45 - Alaska Distillery Birch Syrup Vodka.
Full disclosure: we’ve been gifted bottles of liquor to drink on the show by friends before, but this is the first time that a distillery has sent us something to review. This episode, Jen and Erica are drinking Birch Syrup Flavored Vodka, from Alaska Distillery, the makers of Salmon Vodka.

Drunk Monkeys - January 2013 Live Shows Promo.
For our Chicago-area fans (or fans who can get to the Chicago area) Jen and Erica are excited to tell you about two live shows coming up in January 2013. Remote fans shouldn’t worry, as we’ll eventually post the episodes we film at these shows. Local fans should note that we can’t (yet) send liquor through the internet.
On Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 8pm we’ll be appearing at Stage 773 (1225 W Belmont, Chicago, IL) as part of Chicago Sketch Fest. Tickets are $14 and can be purchased online.
On Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 5-7pm we’re having a party at one of our favorite bars, Watershed (601 N State, Chicago, IL — under Pops for Champagne). We’ll be celebrating the release of our 50th episode and filming a few new ones as well. We’ll have some liquors to share, but it’ll be a cash bar for getting your own (excellent) cocktails. Admission is free.
Drunk Monkeys - Episode 35 - Alaska Distillery Salmon Vodka (Live!).
It's the second review from Jen and Erica's live appearance at the Chicago Women's Funny Festival: Alaska Distillery Salmon Vodka. We're going to be taking a little hiatus now, steeling our livers for another taping of the Drunk Monkeys show. Follow us on Twitter (@drunkmonkeyshow) or subscribe in iTunes to find out when new episodes appear.

The Bakon Vodka episode we keep talking about.
Drunk Monkeys - Episode 34 - Hum (Live!).
It's our second episode from the live show we did at the Chicago Women's Funny Festival. Jen and Erica are drinking Hum, a new botanical liqueur developed by Chicago mixologist Adam Seger.
Erica's shirt: Drink Coffee, Drink Whiskey.
Drunk Monkeys - Episode 33 - Live! Chicago Women's Funny Festival.
This is the first podcast episode coming from our live show at the Chicago Women's Funny Festival. It's a little departure from our usual structure, as there's very little drinking except for shots of Malört and Girl that Jen and Erica do at the top of the show, but Jen talks about Disaronno and the origin of the show and it's funny. Next week, we have some actual reviews from the live show.

Drunk Monkeys - Episode 30 - Calvados Pays d'Auge.
Calvados Pays d'Auge Venerable is an apple brandy from France and, spoiler alert, Jen and Erica like it. Thanks to our friend Peter for the gift of the bottle.
There are a couple more episodes from this season and then we'll be posting the ones we filmed, live, this week at the Chicago Women's Funny Festival. Thanks so much to all the friends and fans who came out to the live show and to the festival for hosting us.
