Forty minutes on hold just to talk to someone (you can't cancel online). Unlike the "dude, our computers are down" guy, the CSR I got today noted that my account had been in "arrears" for over 60 days, so I couldn't get a refund. I asked to talk to a supervisor and after 20 minutes on hold got kicked back to the same rep. "An issue" was preventing me from being connected to a supervisor and I could call back later and ask to talk to a supervisor. I told her that they'd won and it was worth $50 to me at this point not to be on hold any more. So I paid up just so I could cancel my account.
I paid $50 to cancel my account. Let's all ponder that ridiculous statement for a moment.
I think this just made my decision for me about ever getting an Xbox 360.

you are so totally right its ridiculous bullshit. you cant even remember the peoples names you talk to. But i've had a problem with my marketplace not working and first they try to say its cause the area im in is down right now. I told them thats bullshit my neighbor has the exact same set-up i have and his is working perfectly. then they say it should be done by tomorrow. same problem the next day call back again they say give it a week a waited a week. now they say it may take a few months. this is bullshit i pay good money to use all my features and when i have a problem customer service is suppost to help!! Its called customer service for a reason not to bullshit me and harrass me and bring my phone bill up $100 and not even offer any compensation. and this is microsoft doing this, you would think they would know how to treat good paying customers. All i know is something needs to be done about this before bill gates takes control of us like gas companys.

I cant agree or disagree as the number xbox gave me doesnt even work and i spose if i do get through to them i jus have to wait for hours like u, my internet connection is fine and my xbox live is playing up, they better sort sumthing out coz they are gonna lose so many sales with this damn machine

they piss me off to. i will not buy another x box. ps3 is what i should have goten . free net play like it should be i pay for the net and the phoneline and for the internet .
