Five years ago, on one of the hottest days of summer, in an un-air conditioned loft apartment on Lincoln Avenue, I married my perfect love, the sweetest woman in the world, the funniest, kindest, and most wonderful creature, Erica Reid Gerdes. Happy Anniversary, love.
