The Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines' off-handed remark about President Bush at a London show on the eve of the Iraq War ignited a firestorm that ended up with the band virtually vanishing from country radio. The movie bounces back and forth between the evolving controversy in 2003 and the 2006 process of recording a new album.
