The Hydrogen Sonata

I really hesitate to say that The Hydrogen Sonata is “more of the same” for a Culture novel, because that sounds like a bad thing. It’s not. A civilization is about to Sublime, that is, leave this mortal plane and become something else. And there’s a plot and mixed motives and people and Ships rushing to and fro.
