Old Spice Saves the World

I don’t think I’d use their products if you paid me, but Old Spice continues to impress with the sense of humor they’re imbuing their brand with. In the run up to the Mayan Apocalypse, they came out with a series of 5 Flash games, collectively called Old Spice Saves the World, starring a 16-bit Dikembe Mutombo versus a variety of threats from Internet memes. The games, a variety of side-scrollers and shooters, were just challenging enough that I hooked up a USB game controller and used GamePad Companion to map the controller to the appropriate keys, instead of trying to use the keyboard.
