It’s become something of a tradition in the Team Gerdes house to start our Thanksgiving day with the Evanston Flying Turkey 5K, even if, as this year, it’s more a morning stroll. We follow it up with breakfast at Hoosier Mama Pie Company and whatever pie is left over from the preorders. It’s a fun holiday crapshoot!
