I love narrative. I like a thing to have a beginning, middle, and end. That is, I think, my biggest problem with mainstream superhero comics—you’re always coming in to an existing story that you’re expected to understand for anything to make sense, and it’s never really going to end. It’s all middle.

So, anyway, that’s all to say that Locke and Key is an amazing comic book. That just ended. So now would be a great time to start picking up the trades and start reading. Especially if you like magic and mystery and danger and action and growing up.
